2014-12-09: shrib.com continues to grow with all of us. Today, a subtle layout improvement was rolled out, and a few days ago, we fixed a difficult bug. Difficult in the sense that it only appeared on high concurrent users. We are now ready for a lot more users than we are today! Enjoy!

2014-07-31: The very cool Balto Speed Reading App for Android has integrated shrib.com support! You can now paste text you want to speed read to any of your notes, open it on your Android device, and share the page to Balto. Thanks Ivan!

2014-06-24: Disposable notes are joined by disposable email! You may use any email address @shrib.com and look up incoming email at mailinator.com. Example: enter the email address example@shrib.com in an online form, then go to http://mailinator.com/inbox.jsp?to=example to retrieve incoming messages. All terms and conditions of mailinator.com apply for this feature.

2014-04-07: We upgraded to the cloudFlare content delivery network (CDN) to speed up your experience around the globe. Let's see how that works - let me know if you feel any difference.
2014-03-17: Here's a neat trick for you if you need a timestamp in your notes: drag and drop the following link into your bookmarks toolbar. When you are in your note, just hit the link to insert the current timestamp. You can tweak the inserted text by changing the myValue variable inside the bookmarklet code:

2013-08-02: The bidvertiser ads at the bottom of the page are gone. They looked intimidating and ugly, and they are a rip-off - there was no way could I finance the maintenance and further development of shrib.com on that basis.
